Christoph Johann is based in Salzburg, Austria. He trained cameraman and editor. During his education he found out that professional photography, art direction and videography are his main fields of work.

Since 2015 he is a self employed extreme sports photographer. He is proud to work for well-known brands. Red Bull Media House, Atomic and Mercedes-Benz became his main clients and partners. Most of his photoshoots take place in an alpine environment. He loves backcountry snowboarding, surfing and exploring new places. Chasing snowstorms and hunting for the best light turned out to be his lifetime passion. Even though he is mainly working in the winter sports industry, he is very open to various projects. His artistic approach is clean, minimalistic and still natural.

​With his photography I want to inspire people to get out of their comfort zone, to try something new and seek the unknown adventure. The endless adventure!
